My
Story

I began skating at age four in the Learn to Skate program at Skate Frederick, and I immediately fell in love with the sport. Not long after, I started private lessons and entered the world of freestyle competition. As I grew as a skater, I discovered additional disciplines—showcase, interpretive, and solo ice dance—which opened the door to new forms of expression on the ice. I went on to compete at Regionals every year in freestyle and qualified for Nationals in Showcase. While testing my ice dance patterns, I found a new passion for solo dance and began competing in the Solo Dance Series throughout high school, all while continuing my freestyle and showcase training.

When it came time for college, I knew skating would remain a central part of my life, so I pursued a degree in Exercise Science at the University of Delaware. While there, I had the opportunity to compete on their Intercollegiate Skating Team, where we earned two silver medals and became national champions during my senior year.

Alongside coaching, I’ve also stepped into the world of show skating, performing in ’Twas That Night at Busch Gardens Williamsburg with Ice Creative Entertainment—an experience that deepened my love for performance and storytelling on the ice. This background has greatly influenced the way I approach choreography, presentation, and performance quality with my students, enriching the training environment I strive to create.
